Chennai Super Kings made a grand comeback after gap two years, led by Dhoni the Yellow army won the 11th edition of Indian Premier League by beating Sunrises Hyderabad by 8 wickets on 27th May at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Whereas, Pakistan Super League was ended 15 days before the start of IPL. The Islamabad United led by Misbah won the title for the second time by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 3 wickets on 25th March at National Stadium, Karachi.

Top 5 Wicket Takers In IPL 2018:
Andrew Tye topped the list, he took 24 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 18.66 with an economy of 8. While Sunrises Hyderabad's Rashid Khan and Siddharth Kaul finished second and third with 21 wickets respectively.
Playing for RCB this season, Umesh Yadav took 20 wickets in 14 games with an avg of 20.90, he has the better economy rate from other pace bowler at the top with 7.86.
Top 5 Wicket Takers In PSL 2018:
Islamabad United's All-rounder Faheem Ashraf emerged has the leading wicket taker in the 3rd edition of the PSL, he took 18 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 17.22.
The pacer Wahab Riaz of Peshawar Zalmi occupied the second place with 18 wickets in 13 games followed by Usman Khan of Karachi Kings took 16 wickets in 9 games to settle at third place.
